We the men of Christ, of the First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Church, this day commit ourselves to establishing and/or continuing the ministry of men known as, The Sons of Allen. We will create a fellowship through which African Methodist men can enhance their belonging to the African Methodist Church, gain understanding and appreciation of the spiritual and social message of the African Methodist Church, develop latent manpower in our congregations, and become recruiters of other men for discipleship, and enhance the ministry, comradeship and fellowship of the African Methodist Church.

We the men of Christ, this day February 28, 2004 do commit ourselves to this document, the Preamble of the Sons of Allen.
The Men of Bethel A.M.E. Church
